Cypher Pros Review
A research review of DeLorean, Cypher Pros’ automated forex system for MetaTrader 5: public performance, risk controls, account setup and customer terms.
Cypher Pros offers a named MT5 product, assisted onboarding and a public real-account performance record. The published material provides a useful basis for examining how the service operates.
The central questions are how the available performance evidence relates to a customer’s settings, how risk controls operate in practice and what the contract requires. This review separates documented records, provider statements and unresolved details.
Leveraged forex trading can cause substantial losses. Historical account results do not establish a customer’s future return or maximum loss.
What is Cypher Pros?
Cypher Pros is a software provider whose DeLorean system automates forex trading inside a customer’s MetaTrader 5 account. This review examines its public performance records, operating model, risk disclosures, setup and refund conditions.
The documented product is DeLorean, an Expert Advisor, or EA. Once installed and enabled, it can evaluate programmed conditions and submit and manage forex orders. Under the stated custody model, the customer maintains the brokerage account and the broker holds the funds. Cypher’s product description and published terms describe that model.
Cypher’s terms describe a personal, limited, non-transferable software licence and a month-to-month agreement. The product is presented as software for the user’s account. These contractual descriptions do not establish the exact permissions used during assisted setup.
The public record identifies the product and platform. The strategy discussion, verification report and risk-control section explain which deeper details are documented and which still need clarification.
Official Cypher website ↗DeLorean: platform, markets and product identity
Cypher Pros is the provider name; DeLorean is the customer-facing system name used on the product site. A product name alone does not identify the executable build or risk settings.
EUR/USD, AUD/USD, NZD/USD, NZD/CAD, NZD/CHF, EUR/CHF, CAD/CHF, EUR/CAD, EUR/NZD and USD/CAD. The homepage describes these as ten DeLorean subsystems; their individual logic and settings are not public. Official product page.
How Cypher Pros works in an MT5 account
The broad operating model is supported by Cypher's documents and standard MetaTrader functionality.
The user opens or maintains a compatible forex brokerage account; the broker holds the funds.
DeLorean is installed as an Expert Advisor, with onboarding assistance advertised by Cypher.
The EA evaluates programmed conditions across the supported forex pairs.
Orders are transmitted through MT5 and accepted, rejected or filled by the connected broker.
Cypher's terms and disclosures deny custody, withdrawal authority, personalised advice and account discretion. The user's funds remain at the broker, although the exact credentials or remote-access permissions used during assisted setup are not publicly documented. Cypher terms · MT5 account permissions.
DeLorean strategy, automation and AI claims
The product site presents DeLorean as an MT5 Expert Advisor. The Foundation tracker classified the captured account as automated MT5 trading. This establishes the stated delivery model and tracker classification, rather than a code inspection.
Cypher’s algorithmic trading article describes rules-based mean reversion. Other published descriptions use broader terminology. The production rules and build history are not available for replication.
The homepage names trend, breakout and mean-reversion conditions. It does not publish the underlying signal formulas or explain how those descriptions map to each released build.
Promotional pages and interviews use AI terminology. No public model architecture, training dataset or reproducible machine-learning validation was identified in the research material. An automated EA does not, by itself, establish machine learning.
The current homepage describes basket management and a configurable equity drawdown stop. Its example exposure display does not establish the settings enabled in a particular customer account.
Indicators, thresholds, timeframes, position-sizing formulas, per-order stops and targets, and retry behavior are not fully specified in the reviewed material. Additional published strategy notes are discussed in the verification section.
General warnings about grid and martingale are not product specifications. See the newer report notes before relying on the earlier research’s unresolved classification; neither a trade summary nor a strategy label proves the exact sizing algorithm.
Cypher Pros performance: the Foundation account
In the 2 September 2026 research snapshot, Cypher’s Foundation Myfxbook record was classified as a real USD account using automated MT5 trading at Ox Securities. The figures below describe that account at that date. They are historical observations and are not a return forecast.
Equity was USD 1,427.54 below balance, a difference of 4.72% of balance. This is a same-time comparison from the September 2 account figures, not the account’s historical maximum drawdown.
What the record establishes
- A provider-associated real account is public on Myfxbook.
- The captured broker was Ox Securities with 1:500 leverage.
- The account showed a USD 30,275.99 balance and USD 28,848.45 equity.
- Both long and short trades were represented in the summary.
- The account contained more than 3,000 completed trades at capture.
- The tracker was updating at the September 2 capture.
Important limitations
- A custom analysis start date applies; the displayed period is not automatically the complete account lifetime.
- Open trades were private.
- Detailed history was not available in the captured view.
- The September 2 capture did not confirm the verification badges’ check state. Check the current tracker directly.
- Myfxbook tracking has a defined scope. The separate verification report is assessed below.
- Customer version, settings and execution equivalence are not independently established.
For context, read how maximum drawdown differs from current floating loss and what profit factor can and cannot tell you.
The published performance verification report
Cypher hosts an Alpha Performance Verification Services report dated 5 September 2026, covering 14 October 2024–31 August 2026.
The opinion addresses the performance presentation under its stated calculation criteria. Returns include unrealized results and transaction costs.
The accompanying notes describe additions to losing positions, limits per pair and across the portfolio, and an equity threshold that closes positions and pauses trading.
The strategy is labelled QSL Engine Series; the notes also mention Rune. Ask how this maps to the DeLorean build supplied. The opinion is not a code or cybersecurity audit.

| Account and type | Gain / drawdown | What this adds |
|---|---|---|
| Cypher FoundationProvider-associated real account | 203.12% / 15.72%3,081 trades · 1:500 leverage | Primary provider-linked real-account showcase. Custom analysis start applies; customer equivalence is unresolved. |

| USD 10M ConservativeProvider-associated demo | 14.55% / 11.26%1:200 leverage | A separate forward demo configuration. Its results should not be combined with the other accounts. |
The presence of multiple public accounts is useful, but their gains and drawdowns should never be combined. The Foundation account remains the primary provider-linked real-account showcase.
Reading the Foundation monthly results
The provider’s Foundation page displayed a monthly table from October 2024 through July 2026 when checked on September 15. Its interactive account display and static table are separate presentations.
The provider states that the account uses the same execution systems available to clients and directs profits to a selected foundation. The account linkage is public; exact client-setting equivalence and donation evidence are provider claims.
The static table shows 16.83% for the final three months of 2024, 65.16% for 2025 and 32.48% through July 2026. Those figures retain their own stated periods; they should not be substituted for the September 2 Myfxbook snapshot.
The verification report shows 88.40% for 2025, unlike the website table’s 65.16%. This discrepancy needs reconciliation. Compare the report (PDF).
Cypher Foundation page ↗Do customer accounts match the showcase?
The Foundation account offers a detailed public example of how one provider-associated configuration has behaved.
Cypher says the Foundation account uses the same execution systems available to clients. The research did not independently establish equality of customer and showcase builds, parameters, capital, leverage, broker, VPS, latency or symbols. Provider’s Foundation description.
One additional real DeLorean-labelled account and two provider-associated demos add context, but they do not form a representative cohort.
No complete customer distribution, median outcome, drawdown range, survival data or independently attributable set of client tracker links was identified. Reviews can describe experiences but do not replace account records.
Cypher Pros risk controls and leverage
Historical account statistics and provider descriptions answer different questions. Neither establishes a guaranteed limit on future loss.
The Foundation drawdown and trade statistics are meaningful realized account evidence. They should not be converted into a guaranteed maximum or proof of a particular internal risk method. Provider’s control descriptions · Myfxbook drawdown definition.
What happens during a drawdown?
The Foundation snapshot gives an observed historical drawdown. A configured stop, an observed drawdown and a guaranteed loss ceiling are different concepts.
The current product description names a configurable equity drawdown stop. The published report notes add context. Customer-specific thresholds, default values, timing and execution behavior still need written confirmation.
Ask whether a stop is enforced by the EA or broker, what happens during a disconnection, and how gaps, spreads or rejected orders affect execution. A displayed historical maximum does not prevent a larger future drawdown.
Users should request a plain-English drawdown protocol covering position additions, equity thresholds, pause conditions, manual intervention and open-trade visibility.
Backtests and forward performance evidence
No reproducible DeLorean backtest dossier was identified in the public material.
Testing periods, tick modelling, spreads, commissions, slippage, out-of-sample segments, walk-forward tests, Monte Carlo analysis and stress tests are not published.
Cypher's own educational material warns that backtests can be curve-fitted and encourages live third-party tracking. That principle aligns with the public Foundation account, although it is not a substitute for technical validation. Cypher’s discussion of backtesting.
The Moderate and Conservative Myfxbook records are forward demos and remain separate from the real Foundation account.
For the distinction between these evidence types, see backtests versus live trading results.
MT5, broker compatibility and hosting
MT5 is well documented; DeLorean-specific hosting dependencies are less public.

Cypher Pros setup and customer support
Cypher presents onboarding as a guided process: connect a compatible brokerage account, install the software with team assistance and monitor trading through the available dashboard and broker records.
* Contractual response target is not guaranteed. Dashboard monitoring and exportable trade-ledger features are provider descriptions. Published support channels · Contractual support terms.
The Trustpilot reviews captured on September 2 repeatedly described responsive account managers, straightforward setup and ongoing communication. These are self-reported service experiences, rather than independently verified trading results.
The reviewed marketing used “24/5 Support,” while the contact page and terms published weekday business hours. Confirm the support available under the actual order form, particularly for incidents outside those hours.
Cypher Pros refund policy and cancellation
Based on the terms effective 11 August 2026, rechecked on 15 September. The homepage’s 30-day guarantee wording must be read with these conditions.
Source: Cypher’s published terms, sections 4–5. A refund of software fees is different from compensation for trading losses.
The current terms require product activation within 30 days of purchase.
The system must run for 30 consecutive days under the specified conditions.
At least USD 10,000 must remain in the trading account throughout the evaluation period.
Manual trades, trade modifications, unauthorised settings changes and disconnections can affect eligibility.
The ending balance on day 30 must be below the activation balance after excluding deposits and withdrawals. Floating equity treatment is not expressly reconciled.
A request must be submitted within 65 days of purchase with requested trading and balance documentation.
The agreement is month-to-month. Termination for convenience requires 30 days’ written notice and takes effect at the end of the next full month after notice is given; confirm the dates that apply to the signed order.
The software licence is personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable while contractual obligations are met.
The 11 August terms use a 65-day refund request deadline. The superseded 21 July version used a different window. Check the version that forms part of your agreement; the conditions are not a simple satisfaction-only promise.
Disconnections, open trades and recovery
Cypher's terms acknowledge market, software, connectivity and technology risks.
Terminal or VPS interruption
An inactive MT5 environment generally stops new EA trading. Whether existing protections remain broker-side depends on implementation.
Open positions
Broker-held positions do not automatically disappear if an EA disconnects. DeLorean's reconnection and reconciliation behavior is not public.
Order and broker events
Partial fills, rejections, gaps, spread expansion, margin limits and server outages can alter execution. Product-specific retry logic is unpublished.
Licence termination
The licence ends after termination, but public terms do not provide a DeLorean-specific open-position and credential handoff checklist.

Who operates Cypher Pros?
The company information below is the provider’s published or self-reported information captured for the September 2 dossier; it is not a certified registry extract.
* Official or self-reported company information. The complete Wyoming registry record was not captured because the state search required a manual CAPTCHA check. Public pages also contain Denver and Miami address data that may represent historical, headquarters and postal functions.
The team page also names Ian Chamberlin, Ty Yturralde, Victor Turcios and Matt Myers. Named quantitative developers, source-code authors and model-validation personnel are not publicly identified. Cypher team page · Company LinkedIn profile.
Software status and legal terms
The current terms say Cypher and its team are not registered as a broker, investment adviser or commodity trading adviser. Provider’s registration statements.
Cypher characterises the business as a software/SaaS vendor that licenses automated tools, does not hold customer funds, does not tailor advice and does not exercise account discretion.
The September 2 research did not identify a clearly matching registration, warning or enforcement record in its captured exact-name searches. The coverage was limited and is not a current regulatory clearance. Similarly named Cypher or Cypher FX entities should not be attributed without an identity match.
Whether any registration or exemption is required depends on actual activities, permissions, personalisation and compensation—not simply the software label. This profile makes no legal conclusion.
Current terms select Colorado law, require pre-dispute notice, provide for individual AAA arbitration in Denver, include a class-action waiver and offer a 30-day arbitration opt-out by email. A one-year claim deadline and liability limitations may affect remedies. Published dispute provisions.
Account access, privacy and security
Cypher maintains dedicated privacy and security pages, giving prospective users more information than a minimal product-only site.
The privacy policy describes contact, registration, correspondence, technical, audience and payment-processor data. It says personal information is not sold and identifies limited service-provider, legal and successor sharing. Cypher privacy policy.
The security page says users retain control of brokerage credentials and capital and can disconnect the software. It describes SSL, two-factor authentication, encrypted credentials, monitoring, 128-bit SSL and AES-256 encryption. Cypher security page.
These security statements are provider descriptions. The research did not establish an independent penetration test, SOC report, ISO certification, key-management design or incident-response assessment. Performance verification does not answer those cybersecurity questions.
The exact MT5, VPS and remote-access credentials used during setup—and how each can be revoked—should be confirmed in writing.
Product documentation and updates
Cypher publishes current terms, a superseded terms version, disclosures, privacy, security, contact, product, Foundation and educational pages.
These pages establish a public documentation trail. Remaining practical gaps include a customer product manual, release register, installation and permissions guide, exact risk settings, interruption procedure and broker compatibility matrix.
Product descriptions can change between research dates. This revision records selected official-page checks separately from the dated tracker and customer-review snapshots.
Use dated documents and the signed order form when comparing terms. Ask for a release note connecting the different published strategy descriptions to the customer’s actual build.

Cypher Pros customer reviews and complaints
The September 2 research captured 68 reviews on Cypher’s Trustpilot profile. Recurring themes included helpful onboarding, reachable account managers, simple setup, communication and perceived account behavior. This count is a dated snapshot.
The review profile shows that the provider asks customers to review and that one or more profiles were merged. Reviews remain self-reported experiences rather than authenticated trading statements.
One detailed negative review from a prospective purchaser questioned alignment between webinar representations and successive agreements. The allegations were not independently adjudicated and did not concern a completed paid customer relationship.
A Reddit refund discussion described process friction, then included an update six days later in which the author said the refund had been received. Both the complaint and the reported resolution belong in the record; neither was independently adjudicated.
Cypher also maintains an official YouTube channel and active company/social pages. Provider interviews and promotional case studies add context but are not independent technical verification. Official channel.

Questions to ask before using DeLorean
What is the current DeLorean version and how are updates controlled?
Request a build number, release date, change summary, customer-notification process and rollback procedure.
Which strategy description is the most technically accurate?
Ask how mean reversion, trend, breakout and adaptive-AI language relate to the same production system.
What are the position-sizing, stop and exposure limits?
Request the actual configured thresholds, how they are enforced and what happens during gaps or disconnection. Compare the written settings with the account you will run.
Does DeLorean use grid, martingale, averaging or recovery logic?
Ask for a product-specific answer, an explanation of the published strategy notes, and the exact sizing, layering and exposure limits enabled in your account.
How closely does a customer account match the Foundation account?
Compare software version, parameters, broker, leverage, capital, VPS, latency, symbols and execution conditions.
Can open positions and complete history be inspected before purchase?
Public open trades were private, limiting current exposure analysis.
What permissions and credentials are used during onboarding?
Ask for an MT5, VPS and remote-access privilege map plus a customer-verifiable revocation process.
What happens during an MT5, VPS, broker or licence-server interruption?
Request the safe state, broker-side protections, reconnection sequence, alerts and responsibility for open positions.
How does the refund balance test treat floating equity?
Request written clarification for open profit or loss on the measurement date.
Is a particular broker or leverage level required?
Current terms permit supported MT5 forex brokers, while public showcase accounts use Ox Securities and high leverage.
Does Cypher receive broker-related compensation?
Ask about referral, introducing-broker, spread, volume, rebate or other arrangements.
Which independent technical or security assessments are available?
Read the available report and request any separate code review, penetration test, security certification or incident-response assessment.

Does DeLorean have an equity stop?
The current homepage describes a configurable equity drawdown stop. Confirm its actual setting and behavior for the account you would use; a historical drawdown statistic is not a guaranteed future loss limit.
